Bristol Palin .. Leave the poor girl alone! ♥

Bristol Palin Announces SECOND Pregnancy — Calls Herself ,(not her unborn child), A 'Disappointment' To Family, Friends, And Fans
by Kira Vosk

I just had to voice my opinion on this....

As she states So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up, and never give up. When life gets tough, there is no other option but to get tougher. I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you, But please respect Tripp's and my privacy during this time.
I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy. My little family always has, and always will come first. Tripp, this new baby, and I will all be fine, because God is merciful."

Having called off her wedding to U.S. Marine Dakota Meyer in May, this will also be an out-of-wedlock pregnancy for Bristol. And like before, she has the support of her family and the resources to provide for the child. Why should liberals care if she wants to have the baby? She is not asking them to take care of it.

The left says they women to have “reproductive freedom” and “choices,” but when the choice is life, their ugly attacks reveal it’s not quite so simple.
Bristol Palin chose life. And they hate her for it.
And liberal jokes about Obamacare is so great is are garbage I believe, Obamacare is destroying lives, not helping. The raise in everyone’s pay deductions because of Obamacare make me sick!
When they say you are “heartless” for opposing Obamacare, show them why it’s heartless to support it.
Sure, the President, the media, Hollywood and the DC elite have touted some “success stories.” But they are few and far between — and they come at a cost. This is that cost. For every person thanking his lucky stars for this new healthcare entitlement, thousands of low and middle income families are suffering.
Is that fair? Is that compassionate? Is that moral?
Many of the families facing financial ruin because of the ACA are young. Many are single mothers.
So if Bristol Palin is willing to take care of a second child out of wedlock then cut her some slack I say. She is an abstinence advocate, but everyone makes mistakes, she is not stating the unborn child is a disappointment but stating that it will affect the way the her family and followers see her since she is an abstinence advocate and supporter on her blog Since her first pregnancy, Palin has made a career out of campaigning for abstinence.

Just leave the poor girl alone, as she states she doesn’t want lectures or sympathy.

black friday shopping tips ♥

here's some tips for black friday!

. Check Out the Ads:
Your local Thanksgiving Day newspaper will be stuffed like your Thanksgiving turkey with ads, coupons, and circulars. This will be your number one source to local Black Friday savings. It will also help you organize your day to maximize savings, since many stores offer special discounts that are time specific. Example: Receive an extra 10 percent off if you shop before 11 a.m.

2. Do Your Research Before Friday:

If you are hoping to scoop up a deal on Friday on a big-ticket item, go ahead and get your research out of the way as soon as possible. A bad product is a bad deal no matter how cheap it costs. Being knowledgeable about the products you want to buy will help you avoid being sucker-punched with loud advertising for poor products. About.com is chocked full of buying advice on a wide variety of products from professionals who have the knowledge to help you make good decisions.

3. Compare Prices:

Utilize price-comparison Internet shopping sites such as PriceGrabber.com to assist you in comparing product prices. Compare the "options" included with the product. Some retailers will low-ball the advertised price on a stripped down product, and then you will be charged extra for the necessary parts that will make the product perform as expected. A good example of this is often seen with super low-priced computer printers that come without the cable (cord) or printer ink.

4. Look for Early Bird Shopper Discounts:

The Early Bird Shopper will be the real winner on Black Friday. Stores offering early-day shopper specials usually run the deals from 5 a.m. until 11 a.m. and with no "rain checks," which means once they run out of the products, you are out of luck. Scanning the ads and routing your trip based on your buying priorities will be important with the time-sensitive deals that will be offered.

5. Beat the Crowds with Night Owl Discounts on Thanksgiving:

Internet shoppers can beat the early birds by shopping online in the pre-dawn hours of Black Friday. Many retailers will be posting their Black Friday specials, which can be ordered online and picked-up at your local store. Special "Web only" deals will also be available starting as early as Thanksgiving eve. Many of the the aggressive outlet malls and factory stores will be opening Thursday at midnight, with early bird promotions in hopes of capturing your dollars before the competition has opened.

6. Bring the Ads:

Many stores offer a "lowest-price" guarantee; however you may be required to produce a copy of the exact product being advertised for less. Most local retailers will not meet Internet prices even when the product is advertised on the same company's website, but it cannot hurt to try. Print the Web page that details the product and shows the advertised price. It may give you additional bargaining power and push the sales person into waiving other charges such as assembly fees.

8. Know the Store Policies:

Knowing the store policies on returns can help you determine where to buy. A previous trend of extending "return days" during the holidays is being seen less this year. Many retailers are including restocking fees and shorter return deadlines. Almost all of the major retail chains have clamped down on requiring receipts for returns and exchanges, and many keep a database of individuals who tend to abuse return policies. If you get onto an "abuse" list, prepare yourself to be turned down.

9. Ask for Gift Receipts:

Gift receipts generally include a description of the item purchased but do not disclose the price paid. Including gift receipts inside the gift box will make returns or exchanges easier for the gift recipient. Without proof-of-purchase, the recipient may be turned down for returning or exchanging the item or risk receiving an exchange for the current selling price of the item.
Since many retailers begin permanently slashing prices as soon as Black Friday is over, the difference between what you pay for a gift during December and what it sells for in January can be significant. Including a gift-receipt should help insure a hassle-free return experience for gift recipients.

10. Saying "Charge It" Can Pay Off

Obviously, there is no bargain in running up high credit card bills and paying big interest rates, however, with proper spending disciplines intact, using the right charge card can be of value to consumers. Many credit card companies entice consumers with free benefits, which include extended free warranties, return protection and sale price protection.
  • Warranty Coverage - Your credit card company may offer to double or triple a manufacturer's warranty for free on a product you purchase - a good option instead of purchasing a service contract that costs money and has a shorter duration period.
  • Return Protection - A credit card company may guarantee a refund on a product up to 90 days where as the store may not. This is becoming particularly more important as retailers stiffen the allotted return days.
  • Sale Price Protection - Some of the credit card companies will offer this protection and refund you the difference if a product you buy is marked down further than the price you paid within a certain time frame (usually 60 days).
An enormous amount of advertising, locally and online, can be confusing and nearly paralyzing to the Black Friday bargain hunter. To maximize the benefits of hitting the stores on a day where there are big crowds and a better deal around every corner, developing a plan and doing preliminary research will help insure that the day is a shopping success.
Have fun saving money while you shop!

oh and dont forget to energize with your fave starbucks! happy shopping! :)

little miss crafty ...encouragement stones ♥ (turkey day or any day gift)

so i came up with a little crafty idea, for thanksgiving as a gift for your hostess or if you are hosting a party yourself, encourage your guests with these stones, its a little party favor with a meaning from the heart! :) heres the instructions enjoy and have a great turkey day! ♥

Find Your Pebbles ♥

You’ll need a variety of smooth pebbles in assorted shapes and sizes. The best place to find these is at your local craft store. You can purchase them in large bags for very little money. While you’re at the craft store, pick up some acrylic paint in the colors of your choice, a liner brush, a black marker with permanent ink, and a can of acrylic spray varnish.

Prepare Your Pebbles  ♥

If you’re using prepackaged pebbles, there’s no need to wash them before starting your rock crafts project. If you’ve collected your own pebbles, you’ll want to soak them in warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly before proceeding.

Paint Your Words  ♥

Now comes the fun part. Think of all the beautiful words you can use to express yourself. Choose uplifting words such as love, joy, cheer, beauty, smile, or any word that strikes your fancy. If you have a favorite hobby, use words that characterize your hobby. Once you know the words you’re going to use, paint the words onto the pebbles using your liner brush and the acrylic paint of you choice. You can also use your black marker to print words onto the pebbles. To give them even more character, add little icons or expressive motifs.

Let Your Pebbles Dry  ♥

Allow your pebbles to dry in a warm spot overnight.

Seal The Paint  ♥

After the paint on the pebbles is completely dry, spray them lightly with acrylic spray varnish to protect the painted surface and give them a subtle shine. Allow the acrylic varnish to dry completely before handling your word stones.
You can now display your word stones in clear glass dishes or in baskets. Attach a small magnet to the back of each pebble and they can be used as uplifting refrigerator magnets. You can even glue them to the rim of flower pots to display a message. Carry a word stone in your pocketbook that says “love” and give it to that special person. There are lots of uses for your new word stones. Who says rock crafts can’t be fun?
happy crafting! :) ♥
after all thanksgiving is full of love, family, encouragement and most of all what to be thankful for :)

little miss crafty..turkey day craft glitter pears ♥

here's a a supercute idea using faux pears for your turkey day table scape...

                                                   target..craft section! :) ♥

A wide variety of artificial fruit is available at crafts stores; the pears we used have a solid foam core covered with a realistically colored plastic skin. Glass glitter makes for the most sparkling effect; it's transparent, unlike metal-flake glitter, so it lets the fruit's color show through.
Tools and Materials Artificial pears
Glass glitter
Craft glue
Small paintbrush

Glass glitter makes for the most sparkling effect  ♥

How-ToIn a small bowl, dilute craft glue with water until it has a thin, runny consistency. Thinning the glue lessens the amount of glitter that will stick, . Brush each pear with the glue mixture, and sprinkle it with glitter. i like to coat it well!  then arrange on the thanksgiving table supercute! :)

too much of a good thing...my experience with 6 month raw food detox diet ♥

so about 6 months ago I went on a no carb raw food veggie salad and hummus diet only no sugar nothiung else completley cut outall carbs whatsoever not even a triscuit, posting these recipes for you and cooking for everyone is wonderful, I was just not eating it ..and this past week it landed me in the urgent care with severe stomach pain... heres an article I found about the raw veggie diet, my doctor said I should also have my vitamins, and eat a piece of lean chicken or fish once a week, I can still stay on my veggie hummus no carb diet .. just need to add a little protein into my diet once a week, so here;s the article and I guess maybe too much of something to the extreme followed by workout is a little overdoing it, so stay healthy and adjust your diet with your doc first! :)

UPDATE: Based on some of the comments we want to make it clear that we are in 100% support of eating raw foods, our previous post on the topic (Part 1) explained the Benefits of a Raw Food Diet. Our goal here was to explore the flip side. Lets stay open to the fact that everyone is different and at various levels of health. There are indeed dangers to any kind of extreme.

Raw foodism, widely trumpeted to be the best dietary approach ever by its advocates, has been a rage across the world, especially in the United States. Staunch advocates of raw foodism have even claimed that a 100% adherence to raw foodism ushers in multiple benefits for your body.
However, the validity and the extent of raw food benefits are being widely debated, and on the other side of the table are the followers of the cooked food approach. Expectedly, the other group fiercely contests the claims of the raw food proponents.
Obviously, the debate is polarized between two diametrically opposing groups, but there are a lot of people who just want to stay healthy and fit and want to find out how good raw food really is. You are not an expert on raw food and thus can be vulnerable to persuasion.
Therefore, it is important to know that a 100% switch to raw foods may not be suitable for your body. Raw foods, as its advocates claim, have many advantages, and if harnessed properly, can help you lead a healthy life. Balance is the key here, and you must know your body well. Raw foodism, just like any other dietary approach, has its disadvantages, and it is worthwhile to take a look at some of them.
  • According to an article by a food and nutrition expert from Cornell University, you get more nutrition when certain eatables are cooked. Cooked tomatoes, for example, contain more lycopene, a compound that helps fight cancer, than raw tomatoes.
  • According to Donna Gates, the author of Body Ecology Diet, one needs to have a robust digestive system to absorb raw foods all the time. This effectively reduces the universal acceptability of raw foods.
  • According to researchers at the Rutgers University, at least 37 of 48 sampled vegetables are easily digestible when they are stir-fried, boiled, grilled, or steamed.
  • Experts opine that while raw foods like vegetables and fruits are great for your health, it may not be wise to go for a 100% raw diet, as that can cause a deficiency in a variety of nutrients like Vitamin B-12, iron, calcium, and protein.
  • The incidence of food poisoning due to contaminated raw food has risen as much as 10 times since the 1970s. People have been found to suffer from food poisoning and other problems due to the consumption of raw lettuce, salad, melons, and berries.
  • Certain categories of raw foods are said to contain anti-nutrient factors (ANF) that are destroyed by cooking.
  • According to other dietary approaches (for example: Ayurveda and Macrobiotics), a raw dietary approach may not be suitable for regions with extremely cold climates.
  • Critics of raw foodism point out that though cooked foods can lose some enzymes, the body enzymes are enough to help absorb the consumed food. Also, cooking helps you absorb certain phytochemicals (for example: beta-carotene in carrots) better.
  • A study by Washington University found that people on a raw diet had a low bone mass.
A raw diet is certainly better than the Standard American Diet (SAD). However, empirical data suggests that many have just jumped into the raw diet with the expectation that they are going to be among the fittest people on the planet. They forsake cooked food totally in favor of a raw diet, only to realize after some time that the diet was not what their body wanted.
Needless to say, one needs to think hard before deciding on the proportion of raw foods. A blood test would be a wise thing to do for just about every raw food aspirant. It makes sense to be aware of one’s health condition and one’s needs before you take any hasty decision.
As stated earlier, balance is the key, and this holds true especially if one is coming off a Standard American Diet (SAD). A gradual transition to raw food habits is always preferable over a sudden and a total transition from the Standard American Diet (SAD) to a raw food diet.
A raw diet brings along with it multiple advantages, and one needs to carefully harness the power of a raw diet strictly in accordance with his/her health condition. One need not abandon cooked food, as that may give rise to other problems. Ideally, one should plan a diet with around 60% to 80% raw food depending on individual needs.
Talk to your doctor to specifically identify the kind of raw foods (for example: vegetables and fruits) that will be suitable for the body.
To sum it up, balance, a full awareness of your body, and a careful identification of healthy raw foods are the keys to leading a healthy life.
Note: Thank you all for the feedback and openness in having a discussion on the topic. We’ve received lots of negative comments and most people misunderstood us. We never said that raw food is bad for you! We’ve explained last week the advantages of raw foods and in this article we were just trying to educate people about downfalls. We of course encourage people to eat 70-90% raw. Our point was that a 100% raw diet switch may not be for everyone and people on a conventional diet may harm themselves doing a full switch.
